"What is the inspiration that motivates you to do science?"


When I was a high school student and started to be interested in science, I read books and articles, which inspired me. And the experience was, and still is, the foundation of me to keep going as a scientist.

The debate between Einstein and Bohr, Einstein's last message to us "the EPR paradox", John Bell's astonishing solution to it, the books of David Bohm that I so enthusiastically read, William James' arguments in 'Pragmatism', 'Magic Chalk' by Kogo Abe (a Japanese author)...
