Well, it has been a long time since I posted a blog last time. The reason was that I had been entirely occupied with teaching the Neuroscience course at Radboud University for the biology students.
I was assigned to do this 8 months ago. The idea was to use the materials that the former lecturer left and I teach based on them. However, later on, I discovered that those materials are not useful for various reasons. One of them was, probably due to the changes in the programs (still not clear to me), that those materials were too advanced for the 2nd year students.
This meant that I had to make materials from scratch. But I am glad that I noticed this problem in advance. For the last 6 months, I have been working on it and at times I felt so exhausted. Neuroscience is quite broad and highly technical. And I wanted to double-check everything I say in the class. It was quite demanding but I did not want to compromise the contents.
Tomorrow there will be my last lecture. I do not even know how I will feel after it is all finished. I still have to work on the exam questions but still, it is different from working on the scientific contents and double-checking them. It is almost difficult to imagine a life without working on the preparations for my lectures.
Yes, I put everything I got to it.
I hope all go well and the students liked the course.

I got the evaluation of the course by the students' . It was 7.8. Not bad ;>
